In 2001, we produced our first short film acaluma, hence our name.
Naming a company after a first film may not seem like an incredibly
innovative idea so, to make up for this shortcoming, we've placed
a strategically-hidden button on this page to make things a bit more
interesting for you.
Our films reach out to individuals in an individualistic society.
Movies can make us feel less alone. And sometimes they show us
we aren't. At its best, film is literature for the screen. We believe it
can entertain while exploring the deepest truths of human existence.
